- Department of Archives & Special Collections materials are non-circulating and available to students, faculty, staff, courtesy card holders and the general public for use in the Norman F. Martin, S.J. Reading Room.
- There is no charge to use the Department of Archives & Special Collections.All users are required to register with the Reading Room attendant and check in/out daily. Picture identification is required.
- No eating, drinking, or chewing gum is permitted.Users must exercise caution when handling archival and special collections materials. Only laptops and pencils may be used for taking notes.
- When using photographs, users and staff must wear white cotton (darkroom) gloves.Permission is required to copy or publish portions of materials.
- Copying services are available for a fee. Materials are copied by staff only. All archival or special collections materials, because of size or condition, may be copied only at the discretion of the staff.
- Digital photography may be allowed at the discretion of the appropriate staff. No flash is allowed.
- The Department of Archives & Special Collections must be credited on all photographs and documents used in publication. One copy of a publication in which an image from our holdings is used must be submitted to the Department of Archives & Special Collections.
