The Initiative offers:

• An Inter-congregational living space, where the sisters can create a spiritual and human home away from home with other sisters, aided also by a community facilitator, who is a religious herself who knows the school and the surrounding area.

• Excellent theological and academic programs, with the individualized academic support and mentoring.
• 
  
• Ability to focus one of JST's academic programs towards meeting specific congregational needs. This program will provide a foundation for the individual student-sister to become a novice-director, provincial, apostolic leader or theologian.

• Pastoral and Ministerial training experience, which often will be in the student's own language, in the ethnically diverse communities and parishes of the Bay Area.
• 
  
• Spiritual accompaniment, retreats, faith sharing and networking with candidates for priesthood, other religious and lay people.
