Presidential Scholarship

The Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University (JST-SCU) will award a number of full-tuition Presidential Scholarships to full-time lay students accepted into the Master of Divinity (MDiv) Program.  Admission to the MDiv requires a bachelor's degree or the equivalent. The scholarships are for three years, which is the full length of the M.Div. degree program.  It is important that applicants for the Presidential Scholarship have experience or interest in working in poverty settings and with persons from different cultures.  Presidential Scholars will be involved pastorally in such local settings (parishes, prisons, social agencies, etc.) during each year of the M.Div. program.
