Presidential Scholarships

The Jesuit School of Theology will award a number of full-tuition Presidential Scholarships to full-time lay students accepted into the Master of Divinity Program. Admission to the Master of Divinity requires a bachelor's degree or the equivalent. The scholarships are for three years, which is the length of the Master of Divinity program. Experience or interest in working in poverty settings with those from different cultures is important, since Presidential Scholars will be involved pastorally in such local settings (parishes, prisons, social agencies, etc.) during each of their three years in the program.

For information about the Jesuit School of Theology's Master of Divinity program and the Presidential Scholarships, please contact Ms. Linda Menes, Director of Admissions, at 510-549-5016 or admissions@jstb.edu.
