El Instituto Hispano acepta anualmente un promedio de 40 estudiantes.

Estudiantes Nuevos

Los requisitos para estudiantes nuevos para postular al Instituto Hispano son los siguientes:

1. Prueba de formación básica recibida a nivel diocesano y/o parroquial (copia de certificados)
2. Breve ensayo explicando por qué quieres participar del Instituto Hispano (máximo 1 página)
3. Carta de recomendación del párroco, director o coordinador de su ministerio
4. Formulario de inscripción. Para acceder al formulario presione aquí
5. Pago de registro ($25 no reembolsables)

Fecha límite para la inscripción: 15 de abril de 2013

Estudiantes pasados

Para obtener el Certificado de Estudios Teológicos y Pastorales los estudiantes deben completar tres veranos seguidos en el Instituto Hispano. Los estudiantes que han completado el primer verano serán automáticamente aceptados en el Instituto para su segundo y tercer año.

Los requisitos para estudiantes que regresan al Instituto Hispano para el segundo o tercer año son los siguientes:

1. Un corto ensayo describiendo el impacto del Instituto Hispano en su ministerio actual (máximo 1 página)

Ayuda Financiera

El Instituto Hispano cuenta con asistencia financiera disponible para becas parciales para personas que demuestren un alto impacto en su comunidad a través de su ministerio y/o justificada necesidad financiera. Para tener acceso a las becas, el postulante debe indicarlo en el formulario de inscripción.

Los materiales de admisión pasarán por evaluación y, de ser el caso, se asignarán las becas luego de dicho proceso. Mientras más temprano se envíen los materiales de admisión, se tendrá mayor oportunidad para las becas.

Debido a que solo contamos con becas parciales, sugerimos solicitar asistencia financiera a su parroquia o diócesis de acuerdo a su necesidad. Si este es el caso, JST se compromete a enviar una carta a la parroquia para apoyar su solicitud de fondos. De otra manera, cada estudiante es responsable del costo del Instituto una vez que se inscribe.

Returning Students

To obtain the Certificate in Theological and Pastoral Studies, students must complete three consecutive summers at the Institute. Students who have completed the first summer will be automaticalle accepted into the Institute for their second and third year.

The requirements for returning students to the Hispanic Institute for the second and third year are:

Financial Aid

The Hispanic Institute has financial assistance available for partial scholarships for individuals who demonstrate a high impact on their community through their ministry and/or justified financial need. To have access to financial aid, the applicant must indicate it in the registration form.

The application materials will undergo and evaluation an, if applicable, the scholarships will be allocated after this process. The sooner you send the application materials, you will have greater opportunity for financial aid.

Because we only have partial scholarships, we encourage you to ask for financial assistance to your parish or diocese according to your needs. If this is the case, JST can send a letter to the parish to support your funding request. Otherwise, each student is responsible for the cost of the program once you register.
