Theresa Ladrigan-Whelpley serves as the Director of Bannan Institutes in the Ignatian Center for Jesuit Education. She is primary responsible for designing and implementing the Ignatian Center's annual Bannan Institutes. Theresa also collaborates with the Ignatian Center's Bannan Faculty Fellow to develop a range of offerings that invite faculty and staff to engage and explore the Ignatian spiritual tradition. Theresa first came to Santa Clara University in 2006 as the Director of Resident Ministry, and she joined the Ignatian Center staff in 2010.
Theresa has a Ph.D. in Christian Spirituality from the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley CA, an M.Div. from Candler School of Theology, Emory University and a B.S.H. in Biology from Villanova University. She lives in Santa Clara, CA with her husband and three young boys.
