    Qualifications A. Currently enrolled undergraduate student at Santa Clara University having a 2.0 GPA or better. B. Basic office and computer skills in Word and Excel. C. Ability to work effectively with a diverse population of students, staff and faculty. D. Ability to work effectively in a stimulating and flexible work environment. E. Good attendance and work habits. Please Note: Preference will be given to individuals who can work through summer.
    Duties and responsibilities I. Primary Purpose of Position: Assist Administrative Assistant, staff and faculty by providing support for day-to-day office operations. II. Essential Duties: Student Office Assistant I?s are responsible for providing routine clerical and administrative support for the department. III. Specific Duties: A. Greet all guests. B. Perform basic word processing and data entry. C. Sort and distribute mail. D. Make copies and run errands. E. Answer phones and take detailed messages as needed. F. Answer inquiries from students and visitors or direct more complex inquiries to appropriate individuals or departments. G. Assist with Onity lock/door updates as needed. H. Assist with School of Engineering events. I. Other projects as assigned.
