  • Department description The Markkula Center for Applied Ethics website receives about 4 million pageviews annually and contains several thousand pages. The site details the work of the Ethics Center on campus and in the community in business, bioethics, character education, government, and the Internet.
    Qualifications We are looking for someone who will start over the summer and work during the coming academic year. We need someone who can work four-hour blocks every day. An ability to start in early June is a plus but not required. Apply by email. Do not call or come in unless we contact you for an appointment. Applicant must be: Proficient in html and css Proficient in audio editing Proficient in image editing Willing to learn with a can-do attitude Able to work independently The following skills are not required, but would be a plus: Knowledge of JavaScript Knowledge of content management system (CommonSpot) Experience in video editing
    Duties and responsibilities Maintain Center Web site, including posting text, images, video, and audio Create monthly e-newsletter Help staff with technical issues
