  • Department description The Northern California Innocence Project embodies Santa Clara University?s mission to create a more just and humane world through working to exonerate innocence prisoners and pursue legal reforms that address the causes and consequences of wrongful conviction.
    Qualifications Looking for an undergraduate finance or accounting major to help with basic bookkeeping duties from mid-June through mid-September. Job is only open to undergraduates. Work study students preferred. The candidate must have knowledge and practical experience in basic bookkeeping, have experience in basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, the ability to maintain bookkeeping records on computer, the ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with established office policies and be a team player.
    Duties and responsibilities The bookkeeper will be responsible for reconciling general and trust checking accounts, preparing quick vouchers for invoices, preparing reimbursements through Concur, maintaining historical records by filing documents and contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
