  • Department description The Student Assistant for Student Organizations will report to the Assistant Director for Student Organizations & Multicultural Learning and assist with the management of documents and processes related to registration, renewal, event planning, training, and resources for Registered Student Organizations (RSOs).
    Qualifications Must be a current SCU undergraduate student in good academic standing per the Student Handbook and requirements of the student?s division, school, or program. Strong skills in leadership, organization, interpersonal relations, communication, customer service, problem solving, and decision making. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time. Reliability and responsibility. Honesty and integrity. RSO leadership experience preferred.
    Duties and responsibilities Assist with logistics & administrative tasks for major events that include, but are not limited to: Fall Involvement Fair, Winter Involvement Fair, Fall RSO Training(s), and Club Conferences. Perform general administrative duties that include, but are not limited to: CSL front desk coverage and maintaining the general CSL email. Assist with the administrative duties involved with newly proposed RSOs, the renewal process of RSOs, collecting of forms, and other duties as assigned. Assist with the education of RSOs about various policies including funding & finances, event planning, and risk management forms. Understand and utilize OrgSync and Microsoft Office programs. Assist with marketing and publicity of RSO policies and procedures. Attend all scheduled meetings and training sessions. Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director and other CSL staff.
