  • Department description Media Services supports and facilitates the application of media technology and non-print media resources to support and enhance teaching, learning, scholarship, and administrative services, as well as other campus activities and events. Media Services provides faculty, students, and staff with a variety of technology resources, equipment and services to the campus community
    Qualifications IV. Qualifications A. Professional: 1. Experience working with customers in a work environment preferred. B. Personal/Personality: 1. Service oriented. 2. Responsible and dependable with excellent attendance and work habits. 3. Works with minimal supervision; self-motivated; shows initiative. 4. Fast learner with good problem solving skills. 5. Works effectively and can communicate with a diverse population of students, staff and faculty. 6. Works effectively under pressure in a busy (sometimes chaotic) and demanding environment. 7. Currently enrolled student at Santa Clara University having a 2.0 GPA or better. 8. Incoming first and second year students preferred.
    Duties and responsibilities Delivery and setup of AV, multimedia, and computer equipment; assist students, faculty, and staff in the use of equipment; perform maintenance, trouble shooting, and repair of equipment; and provide digital media support to those checking out equipment or using resources either on site or in the Learning Commons.
