  • Department description The purpose of the Office of Institutional Research is to provide objective, systematic and thorough research and analysis in support of the institution's strategic and operational planning, policy formation, and decision-making.
    Qualifications 1. Highly dependable and deadline oriented. 2. Executes projects full-circle; origination, action, documentation, completion, follow-up. 3. Meticulous in nature and extremely detail oriented. 4. Understands the importance of documenting procedures. 5. Intermediate Office, Computer and Internet Researching skills with an aptitude and desire to quickly learn new business processes and techniques is required. 6. Highly prefer an individual who is planning on working throughout the entire year, including summers. 7. Prefer a Freshman/Sophomore Undergraduate Student due to the length of training required to understand business processes. 8. Must be able to work between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.
    Duties and responsibilities 1. Provide support for data collection for both internal and external reporting. 2. Collect information from sources including other on-campus departments, student/faculty/staff surveys, publications, and the World Wide Web. 3. Generates project schedules 4. Detailed review of a large amounts of data 5. Provide direct support for the Institutional Research website, managed on Common Spot. Design reports, page layouts, graphics and data updates. 6. Maintains digital filing environment to store completed projects, data files, and departmental documents. 7. Other duties as required.
