Teach courses at the undergraduate level as assigned by the chair with a commitment to demonstrating superior instructional abilities; ongoing professional development to stay abreast of current practices and technologies is expected. The majority of teaching will be in film production laboratory courses, but at the discretion of the chair, the senior instructor may be assigned to teach lecture courses. Develop and facilitate delivery of high-quality instructional film laboratory experiences while safely managing the film production facilities. These tasks will entail close collaboration with the chair, other departmental film faculty, other instructional staff in the department, and College and University IT specialists. The Instructional Facilities Manager and Senior Instructor may serve as laboratory coordinator for all instructors in one or more multi-section course for one or more quarters during the academic year.

The Post-Award Specialist/Accountant is responsible for the financial and accounting functions and post-award administration for externally funded awards administered through the Sponsored Projects Office. Maintains contact with customers and solicits feedback for improved services. Maximizes productivity through use of appropriate tools; planned training and performance initiatives. Researches and develops resources that create timely and efficient workflow. Prepares progress reports; informs supervisor of project status; and deviation from goals. Ensures completeness, accuracy and timeliness of all operational functions. Prepares and submits reports as requested and required. Develops and implements guidelines to support the functions of the unit.
Post-Award Specialist / Accountant
This position is the first point of contact for the Department of Education in the School of Education and Counseling Psychology. It provides administrative support to the Department of Education Chair and faculty to promote the mission of the School and the Department’s goals. It provides support to the students, maintains the department’s budget, maintains the student database, and is in charge of general office needs for the department. This is a full-time position reporting to the Sr. Assistant Dean.
