HR Workshops: Sexual Harassment Prevention
9:00 AM to 11:30 PM
In accordance with California law, the University requires faculty and staff members to complete a sexual harassment prevention program every two years. 2013 is a designated training year for all SCU faculty and staff even if you completed a program in the past. You must complete an online or classroom program by December 31, 2013.
This training year all faculty and staff members are also required to complete a program concerning mandatory reporting requirements under the Child Abuse & Neglect Reporting Act ("Act"), CA Penal Code §§ 11164-11174.3. If you choose to complete the online sexual harassment prevention training program, you will be required to complete an additional 30 minute program on LawRoom concerning the Act. The classroom program will also provide information about the Act and its mandatory reporting requirements. As a result, the interactive classroom program will be approximately two hours and 30 minutes in duration.
