McLaughlin-Walsh Residence Hall
During the 2014 summer, McLaughlin-Walsh Hall began undergoing a major renovation. At the conclusion of the summer, the renovation project saw the addition of bathrooms to each floor so that both male & female bathrooms are present on each floor and wing. The summer renovations also included a complete refurbishing of student rooms. Student rooms now include new carpet, new fixtures, new lighting as well as new furniture! All of these features and upgrades were completed by the time students moved into McLaughlin & Walsh for the 2014-2015 academic year!
Additionally, a new center structure was constructed and unified McLaughlin & Walsh into one building! The center structure features a centralized lobby, a large two-story commons room, community kitchens, naturally light-filled lounges on each floor as well as a centrally located elevator that serves both wings of the newly joined McLaughlin-Walsh Hall! The center structure opened for student use in January 2014!
