McLaughlin-Walsh Residence Hall
McLaughlin & Walsh Halls Renovation Set for Summer / Fall 2014!
During the 2014 summer and continuing through the end of the Fall 2014 quarter, both McLauglin and Walsh Halls will undergo a major renovation. This renovation project will see the addition of bathrooms to each floor so that both male & female bathrooms are present on each floor and wing. The renovations will also include a complete refurbishing of student rooms. Once the renovation is complete, student rooms will include new carpet, new fixtures, new lighting as well as new furniture! All of these features and upgrades will be completed by the time students move into McLaughlin & Walsh for the 2014-2015 academic year!
Additionally, a new center structure will be constructed that will unify both McLaughlin & Walsh into one building! The center structure will feature a centralized lobby, a large two-story commons room, naturally light-filled lounges on each floor as well as centrally located elevators that will serve both wings of the newly joined McLaughlin & Walsh Halls! The center structure will be completed by the time students return to campus after the 2014 winter break!
