Golden Circle Endowed Scholarship Fund

For the past 40 years, the Golden Circle Theatre Party has benefited the students at Santa Clara University through the Golden Circle Endowed Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for undergraduate students based upon financial need and academic merit.

The first Golden Circle was held in 1967 at Montgomery Theatre with nearly 700 people attending that event. Over the past three years, the Board of Fellows has raised nearly $2 million. During the 2012-2013 academic year, 15 students received scholarships provided by Golden Circle supporters totaling more than $100,000.

The spirit of the Golden Circle Theatre Party is embodied by the Fellows and the students who benefit from its scholarships. The following quotes from some scholarship recipients show the impact of the Golden Circle Endowed Scholarship Fund:

"I continue to be amazed at the generosity of those who believe how critical a role an education plays in our society. Each day here at SCU I learn more about myself. In the future, I plan to contribute to society, make the world a better place for my children and fellow neighbors. Your faith in me is a positive investment in the future of society. My family and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts."

"You transform the dreams of many into reality with your generous support of SCU scholarships. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Though my parents toil long and hard, it would be hard to keep me enrolled in Santa Clara without the aid of this scholarship. Thank you again for your magnanimity and ultimately, your kindness."
