For over 100 years student-athletes representing Santa Clara University have earned great success in the classroom, in competition, and in the community. Today, the Broncos sponsor nineteen sports at the NCAA Division I level ( Baseball, M/W Basketball, M/W Cross Country, M/W Golf, M/W Rowing, M/W Soccer, Softball, M/W Tennis, M/W Track, Volleyball, and M/W Water Polo). Current and former student-athletes are All-Americans, Academic All-Americans, National Champions, and Olympic Champions. In 2009 a Bronco was named one of 32 American Rhodes Scholars.
