Donations to University swell this spring

Jim Purcell, vice president for university relations, reported to the trustees in May that the University had reached more than 61 percent of its $350 million goal as of the end of April. Read more about the donations.

Campus News 
The SCU Women's Lacrosse Club Team made it to the championship game of the U.S. Lacrosse Intercollegiate National Championships in St. Louis. The Broncos, seeded eighth in the 12-team tournament, lost to three-time defending national champion Cal Poly San Luis Obispo 15–4 in the championship.Read more campus news.

SCU People
Deborah Freedman Lustig, a liberal studies lecturer at SCU, has been awarded a Fulbright Scholar grant to lecture and do research at Egerton University, Kenya during the 2004–05 academic year. She will conduct teacher education courses and do research on academic achievement and gender among high school students. Find out more about SCU people.
