Leavey Center shows off its 'new' look March 4-8

At the last West Coast Conference Basketball Tournament at Santa Clara University in 2000, buckets had to be strategically placed next to scorer's table at courtside to catch water dripping through the inflated roof.

The tournament moved south to the new Jenny Craig Arena at the University of San Diego.

The Leavey Center lost its roof and acquired its new window-walls, seats, floor, offices and more, and four years later the tournament is back to Santa Clara, but at the new-look Leavey Center.

The University will host both the men's and women's championships March 4-8, and both Bronco teams should be contenders.

All-session tickets are on sale now at the SCU ticket office, 408-554-4660. Any remaining single-session tickets will not go on sale until the Monday, March 1. Faculty-staff discounts do not apply.
