Entrance Counseling 2007-08

Undergraduate Students

William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan
If you have not previously borrowed through the Federal Direct Loan program, you must complete the Entrance Counseling and submit a completed Master Promissory Note (MPN) before funds can be credited to your student account. If you have submitted a MPN in a prior year while at Santa Clara University, you do not need to submit another MPN loan application.

Federal Perkins Loan
If you have not previously borrowed through the Federal Perkins Loan program, you must complete the Entrance Counseling and submit a completed Perkins Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN) before funds can be disbursed to your student account.  Santa Clara University has partnered with University Accounting Service (UAS) to provide online Entrance Counseling and E-Signature options for the Master Promissory Note. In order to complete the Entrance Counseling requirement and Master Promissory Note electronically, please visit the UAS Web site. If a borrower does not wish to complete the requirements electronically, they can find these paper forms at the Santa Clara University Financial Aid Office.

Graduate Students

Federal Stafford Loan
If you have not previously borrowed through the Federal Stafford Loan program, you must complete the Entrance Counseling and submit a completed Master Promissory Note (MPN) before funds can be credited to your student account. If you have submitted a MPN in a prior year while at Santa Clara University, you do not need to submit another MPN loan application.
