Groups “like” departments from most general (PROV_VP) to most specific (SUB_UNIT)

Level 1 (ALLDEPT) – All departments
Level 2 (PROV_VP) – Groups based on Provost, Vice Prov. & Vice Pres.
Level 3 (DN_DIR) – Groups based on Dean or Director
Level 4 (DEPT) – Groups based on major operating department
Level 5 (UNIT) – Groups based on minor operating departments
Level 6 (SUB_UNIT) - Department ID used for all financial transactions
