Description Focuses on multi-racial identity constructs in African-American and Asian-American literature. Using journey as a metaphor, the course seeks to define "movement" and "place" in contexts where physical, spiritual, voluntary or forced journeys contribute to the transformative possibilities of race, class, gender, and identity.
