Essential Ethics

Virtual conversations with top thought leaders in their fields.

Since its inception more than 30 years ago, the Ethics Center has been a place to convene different perspectives on the most critical issues of the day. Our current closed campus has put a stop to these frequent and popular on-campus discussions. However, sometimes out of adversity comes opportunity. Such is the case with Essential Ethics. The Ethics Center has transitioned its important panel discussions to an online, virtual format, which allows it to impact a larger audience and attract a more diverse cadre of speakers, some of which are featured in the following events:

What’s Next for White House Coverage? Trump, Biden and the Future of US Political Reporting

Bishop Robert McElroy on Voting, Catholicism, and the 2020 Election

When Should Business Re-Open? Ethics, Health, and Getting America Back to Work
