Santa Clara University

The Associate General Contractors of America (AGC) is a professional organization dedicated to serving the nation's construction professionals. The student chapter of AGC at Santa Clara University was created to provide support to students who are interested in pursuing careers in construction. SCU AGC hosts professional speakers, attends the AGC of California Santa Clara District Board of Directors meetings, and participates in other social and networking events. The connection with the local professional chapter's Board of Directors is crucial in our goal of assisting our members gain internships and employment opportunities upon graduation. Each year, a booklet of resumes of SCU AGC members is distributed to the Board of Directors.

Events, Activities & Educational Outreach

• Attend local AGC chapter board meetings
• Participate in local charity events hosted and funded by the local AGC board
  
• Informational sessions from local companies
• Networking events such as San Jose Sharks games, gold tournaments, and career fairs
• Construction site visits
