Senior Design Conference
Mark your calendar: The School of Engineering will hold its 43rd Annual Senior Design Conference Thursday, May 9, 2013. More than 250 alumni, industry leaders, parents and friends are expected to attend and watch our seniors present their projects. This year, bioengineering seniors are taking medical devices to the next level; civil engineers designed numerous sustainable building and water projects; computer engineers developed software applications to improve our lives; electrical engineers worked on a solar energy system with a community-based organization in Mpigi, Uganda; and mechanical engineering students researched a method for integrating a cooling feature into established water filtration methods. These and many more innovative projects will be showcased at the Senior Design Conference on May 9. Visitors are welcome; please come!
