Our students and faculty are actively involved with outreach to the community. The School of Engineering engages with school children and industry partners alike, sharing our enthusiasm, knowledge, and research capabilities with a broad range of constituents.

Leadership Excellence and Academic Development (LEAD)

This SCU program aims to assist students of color, first generation students and their families in their journey through SCU.
Mentoring Underrepresented Students (MUSE)

This program provides support for traditionally underrepresented engineering.
MentorNet

An online community pairing students with engineering professionals for e-mail based mentoring.

NSF Summer Workshop for High School and Middle School Teachers on Programming in Alice

Tutorial and curriculum development sessions July 14-25 at SCU.
Spring Engineering Education Days (SEEDS)

High school students are invited to campus for a series of fun and educational engineering sessions each Saturday in April.
Summer Engineering Seminar (SES)

A special summer experience for high school students.
Summer Tech Academy for Middle School Kids

Sponsored by the Silicon Valley Engineering Council, 3-week sessions begin June 23 and July 14.
