Space Systems (Kitts)This program supports four different MS degree programs, one of which is in Mechanical Engineering. The Mechanical Engineering option is based on the Robotics and Mechatronics depth area, with additional requirements that include a core course sequence in Space Systems Design and Engineering as well as a variety of courses in Project Management and Systems Engineering. The program of studies for the space systems degree option must include the following courses:

Students must also take a 2 unit course that fulfills the Engineering and Society category of the graduate core course requirement. Note that the Emerging Topics and the Engineering and Business/Entrepreneurship course requirements are satisfied by other required courses in the depth area (e.g., MECH 371/371 satisfy the Emerging Topics requirement, and EMGT 380/381/330/265 fulfill the Engineering and Business/Entrepreneurship requirement). |
