Tuition

Tuition is unit-based. Each unit is equal to one hour of classroom instruction per week. We charge a fixed amount for each unit you take. Full-time study for international students means 8 units or more each academic quarter except summer.

2012-2013 Academic Year

*All students, degree and non-degree, including co-op, pay the same tuition rate and are subject to the same registration deadlines and tuition payment guidelines. Bills are run on the first of each month and are due on the 21st of each month.

SCU Engineering Alumni Discount

Students who have graduated from the School of Engineering's master of science or Ph. D. programs are eligible to take graduate classes at a 50% tuition discount. Please note that these classes are taken on an audited basis only, so no credit or grade points will be earned.

• Course drop/swap fee - $50
• Return check fee - $25

• Parking permit, per year
• Ph.D. Thesis Microfilming - $45
• Ph.D. Comprehensive Written Exam fee - $10
