VI World Voice Consortium Congress & XXIII Pacific Voice Conference (PVC): Voice of the Silicon Valley: Technology, Diagnostics, Treatment
The Pacific Voice and Speech Foundation (http://www.pvsf.org/) of San Francisco, CA, together with Department of Bioengineering of Santa Clara University’s School of Engineering (http://www.scu.edu/), announces holding the VI WVC (The Voice of the Silicon Valley) together with the XXIII Annual Pacific Voice Conference and other associated organizations. The venue is to be held April 17-19, 2015 at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California, USA.
This conference covers a broad spectrum of areas related to voice medicine, technology and care, and the performing arts. Specifically VI WVC focuses on intelligent solutions to above issues via international cooperation.
- To provide State–of–the–Art information on applications of technology to the fields of medicine and the performing arts and the entertainment industry.
- To incorporate advanced technological principals into care, treatment, and prevention of voice and speech problems.
- To incorporate technology into performance monitoring and evaluating.
Deadline for abstracts/proposals: November 15, 2014
