The School of Education and Counseling Psychology has prepared teachers and instructional leaders to transform their classrooms, organizations, and communities for more than 100 years, and has prepared future counselors, therapists, and mental health professionals to transform lives, organizations, and communities for more than 50 years.
The new 2014 Institute of International Education (IIE) Open Doors rankings have placed Santa Clara University at #24 for the number of international students hosted by our institution, a boost from #28 in 2013. As part of our commitment to develop culturally-responsive teachers, the School of Education and Counseling Psychology is pleased to announce the SEMILLA Teacher Fellowship. Dr. Ramos-Sánchez, Chair of the Counseling Psychology department and Associate Professor, was recognized by the President for her outstanding achievement in teaching, scholarship and service over the past three years.
