Acquisitions for Diversity: Works from the de Saisset Museum's Permanent Collection
January 24 - March 20, 2009
This exhibition showcases recent additions to the Museum’s permanent collection acquired through the successful and innovative Acquisitions for Diversity program. In this program, SCU students make the selection of objects for acquisition in the context of art history classes. These acquisitions were generously funded from a grant from the Marmor Foundation in honor of Paula Kirkeby. This exhibition will focus on the most recent Acquisitions for Diversity project, held in conjunction with Associate Professor Andrea Pappas’ Women in the Visual Arts course. Exhibited works include prints by Squeak Carnwath, Sue Coe, Hung Liu, and Jaune Quick to See Smith.
