THE GUIDE is intended to be a resource for you and your organization. You will find all kinds of information from chartering and registering to planning an event and managing your finances.

Readers should be aware that (1) it is not a complete statement of all procedures, rules, and regulations of Santa Clara University; (2) the University reserves the right to change any procedures, policies, and programs which appear in THE GUIDE; and (3) the various colleges, schools, and departments of the University may have their own procedures and policies which may apply to student organizations.

In conjunction with the Center for Student Leadership, SCU supports several types of student groups. They include 8 Chartered Student Organizations (CSOs) and over 75 Registered Student Organizations (Clubs).
