Magis Leadership Retreat 2014

This year's Magis Leadership Retreat on February 14-16 included 23 sophomore and junior participants. Special thanks to Lori Durako (Assistant Director for Student Leadership) and her staff (Rob Smith, Libby Furrow, Erica Valle). Thank you also to the staff facilitators (Alissa Novak, CSL; Dave Machado, Housing; Michelle Salmiery, Residence Life) and the student facilitators (Joey Eisenberg, April Long, Jose Lujano, Joy Young).

Learn More About the Retreat

The Magis Leadership Retreat is a weekend long retreat during winter quarter that offers a unique opportunity for sophomore and junior students to come together and explore leadership in a new and innovative way. Instead of traditional skill building workshops associated with leadership development, the Magis Leadership Retreat challenges students to reflect on their personal story and how that story impacts the community around them. Family Weekend 2014

Families are invited to join us for Family Weekend on February 21-23 and get a sense of community life on campus! Through lectures, athletic events, information sessions, and more, families will witness what our students experience every day at Santa Clara. Whether in the classroom, on the court, or around campus, the weekend is designed so that there is something for everyone. View the 2014 schedule >>>

2014 Orientation Student Staff

Marianne Meyers, Avi Patel, and Maggie Stich were selected earlier this quarter to fill the three Central Staff positions for the 2014 Orientation Student Staff. Last quarter Christine Peters and Charles Glassford were selected as the Senior Orientation Leaders. All five students were Orientation Leaders (OLs) last summer. OLs will be confirmed by the end of February and training will start in April.
