Student Health Services Staff
Welcome to the Cowell Center Student Health Services. Below you will find a team of providers who work hard to assure the health of our students.
Calvin Ly, D.O., M.B.A.Campus Physician
Dr. Ly graduated with a B.S. from the University of California, San Diego. He attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (formerly the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine) where he obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He also has a MBA from Rockhurst University Helzberg School of Management. Following his schooling, he completed an Emergency Medicine Residency program at Case Western Reserve University/ MetroHealth Medical Center. He has worked as an Event Medicine Physician at the Cleveland Browns football games, a Flight Physician for LifeFlight and a staff physician in Kaiser Emergency Departments, Southern California regions, Anaheim and Irvine.
Peggie Robinson, R.N., B.C.Clinic Manager
Peggie Robinson is a licensed registered nurse. She received her nursing degree (B.S.N.) from San Jose State University. She also is board certified in College Health Nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Prior to her employment with Cowell, she worked at local hospitals. Peggie enjoys working in the academic setting and assisting our students as they manage their health issues.
Pat McBride, P.A.-C.Physician Assistant
Pat McBride is a California licensed physician assistant, with continued and current national certification. She received her B.S. degree from the University of Iowa and completed her Physician’s Assistant Program through the University of Iowa Medical School. She exercises much patience and compassion when working with patients and is very concerned about establishing good physical health care.
Anne Bradford, N.P.Nurse Practitioner
Anne Bradford is a board certified nurse practitioner and a Certified Diabetes Educator. She received her B.S. in nursing from San Diego State University and her M.S. in nursing from the University of California at San Francisco. Ms. Bradford has a broad base of clinical experience including emergency room/urgent care, internal medicine, and endocrinology. She likes helping college students learn how to stay healthy through diet, fitness and stress reduction.
Lisa Lommel, F.N.P.Nurse Practitioner
Lisa Lommel is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in women's health. She received her B.S. in nursing from the University of San Francisco and her M.S.N from the University of California, San Francisco. She also received a M.P.H. in public health from the University of California, Berkeley. Lisa is currently a Ph.D. student in nursing focusing on Asian and Hispanic health. Her interests include travel, art, design, reading and yoga.
