Ecumenism (Christian Unity)
Ecumenism is the movement toward unity and community across the many expressions and traditions of the Christian faith: Catholic, Protestant, Anglican, Evangelical, Orthodox, Pentecostal or non- or post-denominational.
Diverse Christian worship and prayer
Discover the breadth and richness of the Christian family! Students from all traditions are warmly invited to Catholic mass, Protestant services, Tuesday night Loyola Liturgy, praise worship at Nightlife, and other times of prayer and meditation throughout the year. Be sure to visit the various sacred spaces on campus, as well.
Observed January 18-25, 2010, the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity invites the Christian family throughout the world to pray together Jesus' prayer “that they all may be one” (John 17:21). The 2010 theme, from Luke 24, is "You Are Witnesses of These Things."
