  •  Lenten Reconciliation Opportunities

    Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015

    In addition to the regularly scheduled Monday opportunity to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation at 11:30 a.m., the Sacrament of Reconciliation will also be available on Sundays from 8-8:45 p.m. in the Reconciliation Room of the Mission Church (with the exception of March 25). A communal service will be held on February 25 at 8 p.m.

  •  Ash Wednesday Services

    Ash Wednesday (2/18) is the beginning of the season of Lent. It reminds us that "you are dust and unto dust you shall return." At all of our services there will be an opportunity to receive ashes from a minister. Catholic liturgies are at 7:30 am, 12:05 pm, 6 pm, and 9 pm. A shared Catholic and Protestant service is at 4 pm.

    On the 51st anniversary of the march on Washington, we gather in support of the recent Statement of Catholic Theologians on Racial Justice, we will rally and march on MLK Day. Please wear black in solidarity with the victims of police brutality, united with everyone who will be called to action on this day.

    We hope that you’ll join us for a lively conversation with one of the foremost leaders of the Catholic Church today. Cardinal Rodriguez, the current Archbishop of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, is the Chair of Pope Francis' Council of Cardinals, as well as President of Caritas Internationalis, the parent organization of Catholic Relief Services. This is an open forum at which we will have the chance to be in conversation with the Cardinal about faith in the world, and to join together in prayerful gratitude.
