2015 Theme: To Be Decided early- to mid-2015

The largest annual gathering of youth from Jesuit institutions is a great opportunity to meet people who will embrace your values and engage with you in conversation and exploration about some of the major issues of today. The theme for 2015 will be decided in the spring of 2015.
  • iconApply to attend the teach-in and participate in Washington to Washington

Applications will be released in April 2015. We ask for a one year commitment to the people of the Washington Neighborhood. This means weekly accompaniment with the community throughout the year, as well as reflections and group-building time.
  • iconA Look at the IFTJ

The teach-in website has information about breakout session topics, the keynote speakers, and advocacy day.
  • iconHear from Undocumented Young People about their experiences

"Things I'll Never Say" is a website devoted to sharing the stories of undocumented young people and their experience of being human in the USA. Look for a reflection from alum Jose Ivan Arreola on this site.
  • iconAdvocacy Tools

An important element of the teach-in is the advocacy day, to which the entire weekend builds. Our advocacy is informed by research, conversation, and Catholic Church teaching on the subject. Of particular import are the perspectives of the "madres" from the greater Washington Neighborhood, with whom we will spend a considerable amount of time. Two mother from the community also accompany us on the trip.
