A Legacy of Love and Justice
Monday, February 9, 4:00-5:15 p.m., St. Clare Room
Professor Ana Maria Pineda (Religious Studies) and Juan Velasco (English Department) will commemorate the 34th anniversary of the death of Archbishop Romero and the 37th anniversary of the death of Rutilio Grande, S.J. Romero and Grande were friends and companions on a journey of solidarity and justice for the poor of El Salvador. The commemoration will include poetry reading, art, reflections of their spiritual journey, a remembering of their lives and a celebration of their memory.

Join Fr. Rob Scholla, S.J. for a conversation on the themes addressed in the book Rediscover Catholicism. Whether you have read the book or not, liked it or not, the gathering will give students the opportunity to raise questions, concerns, and hopes for living one’s faith within the Catholic tradition.
