    Passover Seder
    Wednesday, April 8, 6-7:30 Benson Parlors B & C
    All are welcome to join the Jewish Student Union, Hillel of Silicon Valley, and Campus Ministry for SCU’s annual Passover Seder. Passover, or Pesach, remembers God’s deliverance of the Jews from slavery in Egypt. A kosher, vegetarian meal is provided. If you have questions, please contact Rev. Laura Brekke.

    Washington to Washington Program Application
    Applications due Wednesday, April 8
    The Washington to Washington program is a year-long experience that will invite you to explore themes of justice through ongoing accompaniment with mothers of the Greater Washington Neighborhood of San Jose. An integral part of the program is the Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice in Washington, DC (November 7-9). More details can be found on the application, linked above.     Now Hiring 2015-2016 Spirituality Facilitators! (formerly “Resident Ministers”)
    In this ten-month, renewable, fixed-term, part-time position (August 15-June 15) Spirituality Facilitators work in collaboration with Campus Ministry and their Residential Learning Community leadership teams to support the vocational, spiritual, intellectual, personal, and social development of undergraduate students who live on campus.

    Silent Retreat Registration
    May 29-31 St. Francis Retreat Center, San Juan Bautista
    Registration for the Weekend Silent Retreat is now open. Enjoy this three-day weekend retreat based on the Daily Examen prayer, as established by St. Ignatius. Components of the retreat include confidential, individual meetings with a retreat director, group conference talks on the movements of the Examen, liturgy, and group prayer..     Searching for an Evolutionary Spirituality and New Mysticism in a Global World: A Dialogue with Teilhard de Chardin.

    Second in a three part lecture series by Dr. Ursula King (University of Bristol, UK) on the topic of Celebrating Teilhard de Chardin, Pioneer in the Dialogue between Religion and Science.  

    Spring Search Retreat
    May 8-10, 201 Mission Springs Retreat Center
    Registration for the Spring Search Retreat opens Monday. This is an energetic weekend of reflecting, sharing and experiencing God's love in community. Though the retreat is grounded in the Jesuit, Ignatian spirituality individuals of all faith traditions are welcome and encouraged to attend.     More Than Compassion

    More Than Compassion runs a school, orphanage and girl’s home in Guatemala and hires new graduates from universities to work at their locations in Guatemala.     Wonderfully Made Seminar

. Wonderfully Made, a women's Christian organization founded at Santa Clara University, invites all women 13 and older to its 10th Annual Spring Seminar. Wonderfully Made is excited to have Sarah Hill, mentor and youth leader to Bethany Hamilton, as its keynote speaker. The event will also include worship music from recording artist Danya Collyer, student testimonies, and delicious treats. The event is free

    Zen Mindfulness Meditation
    Wednesdays during weeks 1-10, 5:15-6:10 p.m., Multifaith Sanctuary, St. Joseph Hall
    Take a moment to meditate with others and learn about Zen sitting meditation. No experience is required. Come as you can; leave when you must.
