Space of Remembrance
October 31, 2014 until December 1, 2014, Mission Church
Our month of remembering and celebrating our ancestors and the communion of saints, a month we call in English “Novembering,” as the word combines “November” and "remembering.” In Spanish, we call these the Días de los Muertos (Days of the Dead), taking the name and some of the customs from November 2, and keeping them for a whole month and by observing the “altarcito”
The entire SCU community is invited to celebrate these days by
sharing your copies of photos, mementos or any items of your deceased relatives and friends to place around our Table of Remembrance in the Mission Chuch.
sharing your memories by writing notes/letters/prayers and bringing them to the Table of Remembrance.
writing the names of your deceased relatives and friends in our Book of Life, near the Table of Remembrance.
