Women's and Gender Studies Internships

The WGST Program coordinates internship opportunities for our majors and minors. These positions allow our students to gain experience working on gender-related issues in the non-profit world, while also earning course credit.

    The Santa Clara County Office of Women's Policy addresses new and emerging issues affecting women and girls which pose major challenges for our community. OWP promotes programs and activities and works to enhance existing cooperative efforts among local agencies.

    The YWCA Rape Crisis Center helps residents of Silicon Valley to minimize the traumatic aftermath of sexual assault by providing a 24-hour crisis hotline, immediate crisis counseling and assistance, information and referrals, and accompaniment services to medical, police, and court facilities.
