SCU Summer Session

2011 Apply Instructions

1.  Apply Online:  March 14 - July 25, 2011
Non-SCU, non-degree seeking SCU students and incoming SCU freshmen or transfer students must complete and submit the on-line application form prior to registering for classes.  The nonrefundable application fee is $80.  Applications are processed in the order received and require approximately 7 - 10 days for processing

2.  Receive Ecampus Notification
Ecampus is the electronic student center.  Use this site to review/make payments, search and register for courses, and read critical information.

Once the application is processed, students will receive an email providing Ecampus information (Santa Clara University ID number and password).  The email is sent to the primary address provided on the on-line application.  Students may contact the Summer Session Office at 408-554-4833 if they do not receive an email notification within 10 days of submitting the application.  All future email correspondence will be sent to the student's @scu.edu address.

3.  Pay Tuition Deposit
When viewing a bill on Ecampus for the first time, the amount owed will be $0.00 because no course registration has occurred.  Nonetheless, payment of the deposit ($2,076 – a 4 unit course)  is required in order to register for courses.  To make the payment, log in to Ecampus, go to "Bursar's Office", "View Bill & Make a Payment",  "Make a Payment".  Input $2,076 in the "Payment Amount".  Choose Echeck and make your payment.

If you prefer, you can pay in person at the Bursar's office in the Walsh Administration building.

4.  Enroll in courses
Beginning April 18th, 2011, use Ecampus to enroll in courses.
