Update from Bill Dohar
For the sixth straight year, Dr. Bill Dohar spent this Fall teaching church history classes at the Jesuit School of Theology as a courtesy appointment to SCU's Berkeley campus. In addition, Bill has given a few presentations on historical topics around the Bay Area: on September 21, he spoke to the Adult Education Program of St. Pius X Parish in Redwood City on the subject, “Ways of Discipleship in Church History.” Bill returned as an instructor to the Institute for Leadership in Ministry of the Diocese of San Jose. In early November, he offered two nights of Catholic Church history with an emphasis on models in ministry. On November 2, Bill gave a lecture at Mercy Center, Burlingame, CA on the topic of “Discernment in the Ignatian Tradition.”
