Socorro Castañeda-Liles: Author and Curator

This summer Professor Socorro Castañeda-Liles was a curator for the Modern Latina Magazine Book Club—a nation-wide book club.  In October she was interviewed on NBC Bay Area Comunidad del Valle TV show about her upcoming book Our Lady of Everyday Life: La Virgen de Guadalupe and the Catholic Imagination of Mexican Women in America.  She was also one of three Latina authors on a book panel presentation organized by Modern Latina Magazine.  The presentation took place at Santa Clara University.   She was also interviewed about her upcoming book on Visión Magazine.
