Ethics and Spirituality: Perspectives on Sexuality: We are God's 'work of art.' So says Ephesians 2:10. But does that divine artfulness also include human sexuality? If so, this central aspect of human existence becomes a new frame for our pressing questions on the ethics and spirituality of sexuality. In this fully online course, students will have the opportunity to trace the lines through the Christian tradition to current theological positions on sexuality. This process includes appreciating some of the great thinkers on beauty and aesthetics as well as the contributions of contemporary authors. The culmination of this process is an emerging ethical-spiritual synthesis and a harmonious appreciation of the beauty of sexuality. |
