Biographical Information
Debra Herrick received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara in Spanish with a specialization in Latin American Literature and Visual Art. Before joining Santa Clara University's Spanish Studies program, she taught at UCSB, University of Florida, University of Miami, and the Universidad Autónoma Benito Juarez de Oaxaca.  
Courses Taught
Prof. Herrick has taught all levels of Spanish in the Basic Language Program. She also taught an upper level seminar on contemporary Latin American literature and art in the Humanities Research Institute at UABJO. At Santa Clara University,Prof. Herrick teaches Elementary Spanish and History of the Spanish Language.
