English Minor

Requirements for the Minor

Students must fulfill the following requirements for a minor in English:
  • English 20 and 21
  • Five English electives, four of which must be upper-division courses
Foundation Courses:

English 20: Introduction to Literary Study
English 21: Introduction to Poetry

English majors may specialize in Creative Writing; non-English majors may minor in Creative Writing.
