Born and raised in Chicago, Martii is new to San Jose, where she lives with her husband and their two dogs. Prior to coming to SCU, she spent over a decade working at Northeastern Illinois University, most notably in the Dean's Office of the College of Arts and Sciences, serving as a liaison between the Deans and the academic community.
In her free time, she can be found reading, working on her thesis for an M.A. in Communication, Media and Theatre, spending time with friends, and listening to music.
