Anthropology Club

The Anthropology Club is a place for students to explore anthropology outside of the classroom in fun and engaging ways. One of our goals is to broaden students' understanding of what anthropology is, and how it is relevant in the larger world. Through club events, members are able to explore anthropological issues in ways that they might not otherwise experience.

The Anthropology Club sets up a space for students interested in all components of anthropology to get together to approach relevant topics in an open, relaxed environment.

As a member and current co-president of the club, I have learned a great deal about the presence of anthropology in our society. Through field trips, films, and events on campus I have had the opportunity to get out and explore how anthropology fits into life outside of the classroom, and have learned about interesting events and organizations and had the opportunity to participate in them. Most importantly, through the Anthropology Club I have met many new people and have had tons of fun with them!
