The Career Center offers these unique courses to assist you with your career development.


Let Your Life Speak (sophomores, juniors, and seniors)
ASCI 140

Ever wonder what you're going to do with your life? In these two-unit courses you will listen to alumni and others share how they pursue their vocation.  Identify your interests and talents, and use Career Center resources and an Alumni Workplace Shadowing Program to explore the variety of work opportunities for all majors.

Topics addressed by speakers include:

- Tips for uncovering your interests and talents
- Pursuing meaningful work and the ability to make a living
- Does major equal career?
- Preparing for the workplace and life after graduation
- Discerning vocation and determining the work you want to do

- Handling family expectations
- Balancing work and relationships

Let Your Life Speak courses are offered through the DISCOVER program in the following areas: Social Justice, Diversity in Business, Science, Liberal Arts.
